The Queensland State Government has made the swim shirt or “rashie” a part of the primary school uniform code to promote the sun protection of children. Premier Anna Bligh said the improvements to Education Queensland's Sun Safety Strategy would make it compulsory for children to wear sun shirts or T-shirts during school water-based activities.
